dbe goes Summer Mix Crazy!

So the dust has settled for now on another crazy year for the dbe boys, and whilst most of our faithful family have graduated now and are getting prepared for the real world, there are still plenty of brand new boys and girls wanting to parteh hard in the boro. Plans for next year may still not yet be concrete but one's thing for sure, we here at dbe HQ are gonna make the most of this Summer break and attend as many nights and festivals we can squeeze into our busy schedule. For now though we have three special mixes crafted by residents and friends to hopefully get you bouncing through those sunny upcoming days ahead. Parteh on!

PEAK-TIME
Dbe - Summer 2011 (Pt 1) - Mixed by Pasquale by dbe

Coming through with a mix perfectly suited for peak time to get feet moving and bodies grooving, main man Pasquale hits us with another classic mix. Blending some classic Solid Groove and Deep Dish records with more contemporary bangers from Deadboy and Jon Convex takes some serious skill and knowledge, and thankfully as we all know the man has it in abundance.

LATE-NIGHT

Fresh on the back of his double appearance at our End of Term Party, dbe competition winner Dave Woods has been a busy man and put together this hard mix for all you grime and dubstep lovers. Harking back to our days raving in warehouses yet keeping right up to date with a future dystopian twist, Dave's mix keeps it fresh yet dirty throughout its timespan. Keep an eye on this guy in the future, he also kills a mean house party!

AFTER-PARTY

Coming once again with an un-categoristic mix full of what you call it dance music resident SK lives up to his reputation of a restless musical soul with a mix prime for after party playouts. Everyone kows what an atmosphere can be like at an after party, moving from downright insanity to passing out within a matter of minutes. The mix then moves from one genre to another with relative ease and SK shows us his broad taste for music giving early Easy Street records, Wagon Christ, Mr Scruff, Silkie and Julio Bashmore room to breath within this downbeat yet groovy mix.

We hope you carry on the parteh throughout the Summer dbe peeps, don't let us down now!!!
