Support Your Local DJ's Part III: I Want You

Bar9 have been at it again, the difference this time is they have been noticed by none other than living legend Pete Tong. Not a man to fill his show with dubstep, Bar9 featured in Tongy's essential selection on Friday with their remix of Paul Harris' I Want You'.

Their unmistakable bass driven sound is evident throughout, as they look set to emulate the likes of Nero and even Chase & Status in providing productions that are guaranteed to smash dancefloors wherever you go. The record will be out on CR2 records soon enough, for now though you'll have to put up with Tongy papping on over the top of it.

Support Your Local DJ's Part I: Indisco

Ok, so heres the first of a new and hopefully regular feature showcasing things what are good and local. Bradgate Park is good for a walk, Cumberland Road Trading Estate isn't a bad place to hold a rave, and Bar9 are always good for a bass heavy remix that is guaranteed to get dancefloors skanking.

The latest in a long line of fine remixes from Leicester boys Bar9 comes in the shape and sound of Tom Piper & Nick Corelli's Indisco. Corelli, being a Loughborough lad himself, has been at the forefront of all things house for nearly a decade and is about to re-explode back on to the scene with a new album from MYNC, soon to released on CR2 records.

'Indisco' has been released on Tom Piper's 'No Frills' Records and currently stands at number 8 in the beatport dubstep chart. Support your local DJ's and download the track here.
