Welcome back. And as the sun sets on another ridiculous summer for festivals, parties and general frolicking, WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS. And boy have we been busy...
First up, tickets have been flying out for our leg of the SKREAMIZM tour with special guests Skream & Disclosure. The night edges closer and closer and there is less than a month until we open the our doors in LE11 once again. Earlybirds have sold out but you can still grab your £10 ticket here...
Secondly, we have been working through the summer to make sure you are never too far away from your next dose of spine-tingling bass vibes. Here at dbe we thought it was about time we stepped up our game once again, so last week we released our plans on Facebook for the next two months. Keep an eye out for a new residency at the wonderfully intimate Sophbeck in Leicester, plans for a third instalment of the Magical Mystery Tour & even our first dbe trip up to Manchester's legendary Warehouse Project. Check out the graphic below for more details...
If you haven't already heard yet, we at dbe are delighted to be selected as one of Hideout Festival's clubbing partners this year, mostly involving boat and pool party 'hosting' duties alongside our old mucker Barry. If this is indeed the first you have heard of this, well, you snooze you lose.
However, a little bit of Hideout is available to everyone in the form of our very own Pasquale's DaYnNiGhT Mix. Just under an hour of grooves perfected to soundtrack either a sun-drenched day by the pool, some early hours dancefloor movements, or more likely that 24 hour library session you were planning to hit that deadline. Whichever it is, you need to get this on the DL and into your life...
We are Very Very Very excited to announce that dbe will be an Official Clubbing Partner for Hideout Festival 2012!
In 2010 we teamed up with Bigger Than Barry & Ibiza Rocks to bring a week long clubbing holiday where experiences were had, and minds were lost... This ones set to be no different!
So onto 2012, and the mighty Hideout festival. Here's some info on Europes' newest Shindig,
INTRODUCING HIDEOUT 2012
Hideout Festival Croatia made its spectacular debut this summer – a beachside event in a stunning and unique location.
The first-time event was a complete sell-out and made an outstanding entrance onto the summer festival scene. Reviews from attendees, artists and clubbing partners were phenomenal and within days of Hideout 2011 having ended, talk of Hideout 2012 begun.
The wheels are currently being put in motion to bring you an exceptional Hideout 2012 and it is already set to be even more phenomenal than the last.
BIGGER
Due to extreme popularity and demand, capacity is being increased for next year’s event, so even more of you will be able to have the Hideout experience. A fourth venue has been added – in addition to Papaya, Aquarius 1 and Aquarius 2, which proved to be hugely successful venues last year, they’re now adding Kalypso into the mix.
Kalypso is Zcre beaches most infamous night club, right next to the sea and surrounded by palm trees, this exotic venue is going to add a brand new, exciting dimension to Hideout 2012!
To accommodate the extra capacity, as well as securing even more apartments in the town of Novaljia and surrounding areas – just down the road from the action and right near all the bars, pubs, restaurants and all-important beach – Hideout Festival will this time around offer the option to camp right next to the beach, with a stunning mountain back drop to the camp site.
BETTER
Some of your favourite DJ’s from last year will be returning – including Annie Mac, Nero and Jamie Jones who will both be playing back to back on the main stage – whilst some new huge acts will also be introduced. Absolute legends such as Ricardo Villalobos, Four Tet & Caribou, Claude Von Stroke, Skrillex, Skream and Jacques Lu Cont are going to be joining the line-up next year, ensuring an even more outstanding programme than before.
Clubbing partners Mono Cult, Jaunt, Urban Nerds, and Just Jack will be back, who were hugely popular last year, plus some all-new affiliations will be involved including Mulletover, Kubicle, London’s Fabric Live, Birmingham’s Face & Below and of course dbe...
2012 will be also be bringing you an even bigger programme…
Hideout Festival 2012 will take place across the four venues, from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July and will this time be hosting an entire week of events, from Tuesday 26th June right up until to the early hours of Monday 2nd July! Plus stay alert for updates and ticket information on the secret location parties they’re going to be hosting around the island – updates will be available on their Facebook and Twitter pages.
HIDEOUT 2012
Not for the faint-hearted, Hideout 2012 will once again combine the stamina of a beach holiday with the intense euphoria of the most turbo charged electronic festival!
