Ain't no party like a LUSAD party

OK, so we have got permission and somehow the blessing of the Art Department to put on a exhibition/party in the Fine Art Gallery, which will include sets from Pasquale and Antonio D'Angelo & also maybe definitely some art. This will then be followed by a short trip down the road to the Orange Tree for drinks and socializing till closing time.

The party is free for ALL LUSAD students and is a chance for the freshers to interact with the rest of their department. Basically the plan is this...

Fine Art Gallery (17:00 - 20:00)

- Returning students art exhibition
- Music and DJ's supplied by Dub-boro
- An oppurtunity to integrate with your LUSAD peers

The Orange Tree (20:00 - 00:00)

- Get your FREE Cocktail Club card
- Cheap cocktails all night!
- L'boro's NO 1 attitude free bar

Join the facebook event here, and invite your friends. They will love it.

Support Your Local DJ's Part I: Indisco

Ok, so heres the first of a new and hopefully regular feature showcasing things what are good and local. Bradgate Park is good for a walk, Cumberland Road Trading Estate isn't a bad place to hold a rave, and Bar9 are always good for a bass heavy remix that is guaranteed to get dancefloors skanking.

The latest in a long line of fine remixes from Leicester boys Bar9 comes in the shape and sound of Tom Piper & Nick Corelli's Indisco. Corelli, being a Loughborough lad himself, has been at the forefront of all things house for nearly a decade and is about to re-explode back on to the scene with a new album from MYNC, soon to released on CR2 records.

'Indisco' has been released on Tom Piper's 'No Frills' Records and currently stands at number 8 in the beatport dubstep chart. Support your local DJ's and download the track here.
